Maybelline Master Fix Translucent Powder Review

Need a dupe for the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder ? I'm pretty sure we all do, have you seen the price of that stuff? and although everyone seems to swear by it, I honestly cant justify paying £30 for a setting powder, I mean come on...... it couldn't be that worth it, could it?

Although I've never actually tried the Laura Mercier powder I do think I've found something just as good and I mean I can't necessarily compare the two but it's a setting powder I'm pretty sure they all do the exact same thing, right?.  So if you're looking for a more affordable setting powder hit up Maybelline and you're pretty much sorted.

I recently purchased their translucent powder and it changed my makeup game, for the better (obviously),  I basically apply this after I put my concealer on under my eyes with a beauty blender, I then leave it to sit for a little while before grabbing a brush and wiping away the excess and then I'm  done and ready for a day full of long lasting, bright under eyes.

I think that the packaging is very simple and sleek which is perfect for your makeup bag as for the powder itself it's really light and easily applied which gives your makeup a flawless finish. This product honestly works perfectly for me but I have seen that a lot of people aren't really a fan of it, at all, but for £8.99 I think its definitely worth giving a go.

  14. I prefer powder consistencies to cream, my skin does NOT react well to cream foundations as I always end up breaking out! I always choose powders! Good for my combination skin too! xxx
