sunny days & sunny walks

A few days ago Ireland had the sunniest day of 2017. I honestly had to get out, I would have definitely regret staying in if I had of, so I decided what better to do than take my little pup for a nice walk, it was practically the first day that I could leave the house without a jacket and in a dress this was just a little exciting for me.... was I dreaming... nope THANKFULLY not.

Luckily the area in which I live in has various walkways around my house which allows me to completely fall in love with the beauty of the world in so many ways. The sun, the birds, the atmosphere, it was a perfect evening. I am really looking forward to more evenings like this.

5 Of My Favourite Tops

When it comes to clothes I can take or leave most things, I am not the biggest shopaholic if I'm being honest but when I see cute clothes I have to get the stuff, immediately.  Over the last few months I have been living in the tops below, there just right up my street and I love them, a lot. Which is why I wanted to dedicate a whole blog post to them, weird, I know.

My Night Time Routine

I love having consistency in my every day life so having a specific routine to follow is vital for me, purely because it allows my brain to completely relax, settle down and just completely unwind. Heading to bed is my favourite part of the day, it's the best. Being able to remove my makeup, throwing my hair up in a messy bun, and getting into my comfiest PJ'S. What is not to love?

My night time routine consists of 5 simple steps.
  1.  I brush my hair through and place it in a loose bun on top of my head
  2. I will then get into the comfiest pyjamas that I can find in my drawer
  3. My favourite step is removing all of my makeup and applying a toner and moisturiser
  4. My 4th step is this app called "head space" as it provides me with a quick relaxation session and allows me to clear my head which is just what I need before bed.
  5. Lastly, I get into bed and listen to some relaxing music until I am ready to settle down for sleep
This is just a super quick routine which was so easy for me to get into the habit of doing, it provides me with so much relaxation and I always wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day, some times I like to change up the routine as I believe this is a lot more healthy for me, but it is only simple changes I make like creating a nice bath with some LUSH bath bombs ( my absolute favs), It really just depends on the amount of stress I am under on that day or the amount of spare time that I have that night. But honestly having a night time routine is life changing, well especially for me.

make sure you let me know your night time routine in the comments below x

My top 5 beauty essentials

There is nothing I love more than make-up, however, I do have a few essentials that are always my go to products when creating my every day makeup look. I am definitely a makeup hoarder and I get so much enjoyment out of testing new products but there is just some items I  simply cannot replace.

My top 5 beauty essentials include;

 Urban Decay Vice palette
When this palette first came out I had received it as a Christmas gift and I automatically fell in love, it's just perfect. If your not a big fan of crazy colours you might not get much use out of this palette but I could not live without it, I literally use it every day.  The 20 different shades are very pigmented and really easy to blend which is just what you want, I feel like this palette is defiantly worth the money and the looks you can create with it is out of this world.

This lip colour is absolutely gorgeous, it is my description of a PERFECT nude (which we all know can be hard to find). This lip colour is really easy to apply over a lip liner and gives a perfect finish to my make-up look.
I love pairing this lip colour with Bare minerals gen nude- On point lip liner as this gives the perfect base colour and is really easy to apply because it is really bendable and perfect for making you look as if you have naturally big lips.

 Smash Box photo finish primer
This primer is AMAZING, honestly the best that I have ever tried. I can not rave about this product enough, its life changing. This primer is so easy to apply and has a perfect silky feeling on your skin which allows your foundation to easily apply and last all day, and I mean all day. I could not recommend this product enough. Just trust me on it.

Urban Decay make-up setting spray
This spray is definitely a staple in my everyday makeup routine, this was one of the first products that I really invested in when I first started getting into doing my makeup, purely because I have oily skin and I really struggle with keeping my makeup in place throughout the day, but this changed everything. I literally can't  leave my house without spraying this on my face, it gives me so much more longevity in my makeup and I don't think I could live without it.

Mary Lou- Manizer
Highlighter is one of my favourite things about my make-up routine, I'm pretty sure it is nearly everyone's favourite. However, when this product first came out it never really intrigued me but the last few months my best
friend had been raving on about it and telling me how amazing it is, and my god was she right. Ever since I purchased this I cannot stop using it, it has easily became one of my all time favourite products and an essential to my everyday life.  This product is honestly amazing, the highlight is a perfect golden shade which gives the perfect finishing touch to my make-up.  I love it.

it's okay to be you..

"It's okay to be you" is saying I've heard on numerous occasions over the last few years, but for some reason this year I finally listened to it. Being yourself is something that I have noticed many people struggle to do, mainly teenage girls, including myself.
The last few days I have replayed thousands of scenarios in my head of different times in which I may have altered myself to appear more pleasing and interesting to others, I also spent a lot of day's following others. WHY? WHY DID I DO THIS?

If someone doe's not take you as you are and see the beauty within you then you are not the one at fault its purely their stupidity. Don't let it get to you.
Society is constantly developing and trying to influence others, its full of people that have changed themselves so much that there is no going back, don't get involved in it, it's not worth losing yourself just to create someone else. Always remain true to yourself and you can not go wrong. I promise.
A lot of people want to follow the crowd to fulfil themselves and feel special but the truth is they only do it because its easy, they don't want to face the challenges that life throws at them.
So be strong, have courage and faith in yourself, you are still breathing after all so make the most your of life and always show people exactly what you are made of.

Don't be afraid to always BE YOU!

25 Facts about me

I've spent this entire day trying to figure out things that I can discuss on here, things that are of interest to others and at the moment I have nothing. Absolutely Nothing. In time, I want this blog to grow I want it to become something that I am proud of, at the moment I am currently saving up for a brilliant camera which will allow me to take loads of arty shots to make this blog well lets just say a lot more aesthetically pleasing. It could do with some TLC. However, I am aware that this will take time and for now I am really beginning to take a new-found interest in writing these posts, even if they are boring. Who cares?

So for the time being let me BORE you with 25 facts about me, about time that we got to know one and other isn't it??

Tuesday, 14 March 2017

I am not going to lie, never in a million years would I have thought that I would be sitting here today writing a blog post but I wanted to create my own little world that I can share all my favourite makeup, clothing items and any other things that comes to mind with people who share the same interest.  I know the blogging world is continuing to expand but I personally think there is enough room for everyone so I'm very excited to start posting.  Another  reason I began writing this is that it’s coming to the end of March and any A level student's, like myself will know what that means, EXAMS. How exciting? so starting a blog also  gives me the perfect opportunity to distress and take a step away from looking at revision notes.

I know this is a terrible first post but I just wanted to share my reason for beginning a blog, I still need to decide on my content and how on earth I am going to keep this private from everyone I know but sometimes things are better to be worried about in the future so that's what exactly what I’ll do.
